Donny K. Hall
Donny believes that SureSale can make buying and selling used cars easier and more enjoyable for everyone by first providing a consistent, trustworthy and easy to understand quality standard. SureSale Certified. Then real change can begin. Prior to SureSale, Donny built one of the largest direct to consumer marketers of vehicle service contracts in the country. He sold the company to Innovative Aftermarket Systems in 2017.
Over his career he has been a key team member and leader of multiple successful consumer marketing businesses including LowerMyBills.com (sold to Experian), HomeLoanCenter.com (sold to LendingTree) and LeadPoint.com. Donny lives in Santa Barbara, California with his two children and two dogs where he enjoys long runs and bikes in the mountains. He graduated with a BS in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and recently completed the Owner/President Management Program (OPM 49) at Harvard Business School.
Schwartz is an experienced entrepreneur with 20+ year of automotive and technology experience. He was President and CEO of both Autoweb and Autobytel, both Nasdaq-listed companies, and has also been director of a number of public companies, including US AutoParts. He was founder of AutoCentro, a Hispanic focused dealership group, and founded Classified Advertising Networks, a leading private party automotive advertising network.
Schwartz was formerly a corporate marketing executive at The Walt Disney Company, responsible for Fortune 100 marketing alliances. He was awarded Outstanding Executive of a Public Company by the American Electronics Association, was a CIO 100 award winner, a Deloitte and Touche FAST 50 award winner, and recipient of the American Business Award (the Stevie Award) for best new product launch. Schwartz has a Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and graduated from the Directors College at Stanford Law School.
Head of Product Platform
Nathan has 20+ years of experience as a product manager for a range of companies including: Commission Junction (sold to ValueClick), LeadPoint, CitySearch/CityGrid Media, Citrix Online, and Sonos. He has overseen successful product launches and is named in a number of patents pending. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with degrees in Molecular, Cellular Development Biology and Economics. Nathan has an MBA from California Lutheran University.
He has experience developing with Ruby on Rails. He has focused on Online Advertising, Developer Programs, SaaS Solutions, and OAuth/Identity in the past. A Pragmatic Product Management alum and a certified Scrum Master. He enjoys surfing, surfboard shaping, and CrossFit.
Director of Inspection Operations
Justin Schwartz is a Co-Founder of SureSale and is Director of Inspection Operations. He is responsible for overseeing all inspection related work at SureSale Certified Dealers, as well as the recruitment, training and supervision of SureSale’s field-based network of inspectors across the country. He is also responsible for the SureSale’s customer support.
Justin has worked with companies in both the early and late stages of their lifecycle focusing on e-commerce and business development. Some of his experiences include working with companies such as Kazaa Music Service, Livestrong.com, USAToday, and WhipClip (now TVTime). Justin received a degree in Business Administration and Digital Entrepreneurship from USC. Some of his interests include traveling, running, and finding new hole in the wall restaurants.
